Contributions to ABWF
ABWF provides an effective way to support a variety of worthwhile charitable causes with a single contribution
Endowment:
- ABWF is a nonpolitical, nonsectarian, publicly supported endowment
- contributions to the endowment remain on permanent deposit
- interest income from the endowment is distributed each year to a different group of worthwhile charities that are evaluated carefully for their programs, finances, management, fund raising, and governance
Grants are given only to 501(c)(3) charities, on an unsolicited basis; grant applications are not accepted.

ABWF pays no salaries, and its officers serve on a volunteer basis
ABWF receives no fees or commissions from recipient organizations and has no formal affiliation with, nor is it officially endorsed by or appointed as agent for, any organizations to which it gives grants
Contributions to ABWF are deductible to the full extent allowed by law
Federal employees participating in the Combined Federal Campaign can contribute to ABWF by designating Agency # 1124

ABWF gives grants to a number of worthy charities that work internationally and in the United States in the areas A Better World Fund (ABWF) is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization that gives grants to deserving charities doing vital work, both internationally and in the United States, in the areas of Peace, Hunger, Health, Human Rights, Ecology, Education, and Economic Development.
